Description

Dahua DH-IPC-HDW1431T1-S4 4MP IR Fixed-focal Eyeball IP Camera

The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW1431T1-S4 4MP IR Fixed-Focal Eyeball IP Camera is an affordable and practical network surveillance camera from Dahua's Entry Series. Its compact eyeball design is suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications, including entrances, reception areas, retail stores, offices, corridors, warehouses, parking areas, and building perimeters.

Equipped with a 1/3-inch 4MP progressive CMOS sensor, the camera captures detailed surveillance footage with an effective resolution of 2688 × 1520 pixels. It outputs 4MP video at 2560 × 1440 at 25/30 fps and supports maximum 4MP resolution at 20 fps.

For nighttime surveillance, the camera has a built-in IR LED with up to 30 meters of illumination distance. Smart Illumination technology automatically adjusts the illumination intensity according to the target distance, helping provide useful image details in low-light and completely dark environments.

The camera uses a fixed-focal M12 lens, with 2.8mm and 3.6mm lens options. The 2.8mm version provides a wider viewing angle for larger areas, while the 3.6mm version provides a narrower field of view for more focused monitoring.

For challenging lighting conditions, the DH-IPC-HDW1431T1-S4 supports 120dB WDR, helping balance bright and dark areas within the same scene. It also includes 3D Noise Reduction, BLC, HLC, image rotation, white balance, and gain control for improved image quality.

The camera supports Smart H.265+ and Smart H.264+ compression, which can significantly reduce bandwidth and storage requirements compared with conventional encoding. ROI support allows important areas of the image to receive higher encoding priority.

For security monitoring, the camera supports motion detection, video tampering detection, network disconnection, IP conflict, illegal access, and voltage detection. The newer 1431 series also supports human detection, although this feature should be confirmed against the exact S4/S6 hardware revision before listing it as a feature of this specific S4 model.

The camera supports 12V DC and PoE (IEEE 802.3af), allowing both power and network data to be transmitted through one Ethernet cable when used with a compatible PoE switch or NVR.

Its IP67 protection rating helps protect the camera against dust and water, making it suitable for outdoor installations. The camera's metal-and-plastic construction measures approximately 85.5 × Ø109mm and weighs about 0.25kg net.

Overall, the Dahua DH-IPC-HDW1431T1-S4 is an excellent choice for customers looking for a 4MP Dahua eyeball IP camera with 30m IR night vision, 120dB WDR, Smart Codec, PoE, and IP67 outdoor protection.
