The Hikvision DS-2DE2C400MWG-E is a 4MP Smart Hybrid Light Mini PT Network Camera designed for homes, offices, shops, warehouses, farms, parking areas, entrances, gates, and other outdoor surveillance applications.

The camera uses a 1/3-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and provides a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. It supports up to 20fps at 4MP, delivering detailed and smooth surveillance footage.

A major advantage of this camera is its Smart Hybrid Light technology, combining infrared and white-light illumination. Both the IR and white-light illumination have a range of up to 30 meters, helping maintain visibility in dark environments.

The camera features Human Detection and Auto-Tracking Lite. When supported events occur, the camera can automatically track the detected target, making it useful for monitoring entrances, yards, parking areas, farms, and other locations where subjects may move through the surveillance area.

Unlike many conventional fixed cameras, the DS-2DE2C400MWG-E provides pan and tilt movement. It supports 0°–345° pan and 0°–80° tilt, allowing users to adjust the viewing direction remotely. Pan speed reaches up to 25°/s, while tilt speed reaches up to 20°/s.

The camera also provides two-way audio through its built-in microphone and speaker. This allows users to listen to the monitored area and communicate remotely through compatible Hikvision applications or systems.

For image enhancement, the camera supports Digital WDR, BLC, HLC, and 3D DNR, helping improve visibility in scenes with backlighting, bright areas, shadows, and image noise.

Video can be compressed using H.265, H.264, or MJPEG. H.265 helps reduce bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining efficient video quality.

The camera has a 10/100Mbps self-adaptive RJ45 Ethernet port and supports IEEE 802.3af PoE, allowing power and network data to be delivered through a single Ethernet cable. It also supports ONVIF Profile S, G, and T, ISAPI, and SDK integration.

For local recording, the camera includes a built-in memory card slot supporting microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC cards up to 512GB.
