The Jovision JVS-N517-SDL is a 5MP Full-Color Video & Audio PoE Network Camera designed to provide high-quality surveillance with intelligent detection, clear audio, and reliable nighttime monitoring. It is suitable for residential, commercial, industrial, educational, and institutional security applications.

The camera uses a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor and delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1792 pixels at 25fps, providing detailed video for monitoring entrances, parking areas, shops, warehouses, offices, factories, and other security-sensitive locations.

One of its key technologies is Full-Color with Dual Smart Illumination. The camera is equipped with 4 white LEDs and 4 IR LEDs, providing up to 50 meters of IR illumination. It can also activate the spotlight when motion is detected, helping provide clearer nighttime surveillance.

The camera supports 3.6mm and 6mm M12 lens options. The 3.6mm lens provides approximately 80° horizontal viewing angle, while the 6mm lens provides approximately 49.7° horizontal viewing angle, allowing the camera to be selected according to the required surveillance area.

The JVS-N517-SDL incorporates Jovision's VQC (Video Quality Catalyst) technology, along with DWDR, Smart Defog, 3D Digital Noise Reduction, automatic exposure, automatic white balance, and night vision optimization. These technologies help improve image clarity under challenging lighting conditions.

For intelligent surveillance, the camera supports humanoid detection, region intrusion detection, line crossing detection, video blocking detection, and people counting. These features can help improve event monitoring and reduce unnecessary security alerts.

For audio monitoring and communication, the camera includes a built-in microphone and speaker and supports G.711U/G.711A audio codecs. This allows audio to be captured with video and supports applications requiring two-way audio communication.

The camera also supports a 512GB SD card, providing local storage capability for surveillance recordings. It supports two video streams, with the main stream offering 317Kbps–8Mbps bitrate and the sub-stream supporting 68Kbps–2728Kbps.

For network connectivity, the camera provides 10/100Mbps Ethernet, standard ONVIF, and CloudSEE 2.0 network transmission. It supports HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, RTSP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, and other standard protocols, making it suitable for integration with compatible NVRs and surveillance systems.

The built-in PoE feature allows both power and network data to be transmitted through a single Ethernet cable when connected to a compatible PoE switch or NVR. The camera also supports DC12V power, providing installation flexibility.

With an IP67 waterproof rating, the JVS-N517-SDL is designed for outdoor environments and protection against dust and water. It supports an operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C.
